C Todd & Co is a firm of Chartered Certified Accountants based in the Broomhill district of Sheffield, South Yorkshire. We are close to both Sheffield city centre and the border between South Yorkshire and Derbyshire.
Our offices are located on the ground floor of the Redlands Business Centre on Tapton House Road, Sheffield 10. There is easy access to our offices from the A57 Manchester Road and from Crookes.
Our offices are modern and welcoming throughout and hot and cold drinks are always available, and chocolate can always be found in our fridge.

In addition to traditional accounting, bookkeeping and payroll services we also provide advice on how to improve and develop your business and profitability. Our specialism is our fully computerised payroll solution, tailored specifically to the requirements of our clients.
We use the latest computer hardware and accounting and business software, which are continually being updated. This ensures your data is safe and secure, and you can relax in the knowledge that your accounts and tax returns will always be in the correct format.
The software we use includes the Iris suite of accountancy, taxation and practice management software for accountants, Pegasus Opera II and Sage.
We have a wide experience of all of the major bookkeeping and accounting software on the market, including Sage, from Instant Accounts to Financial Controller, QuickBooks and Pegasus Opera II.
Our computer systems allow us to receive and transmit documents quickly and securely by e-mail and fax to compliment the traditional postal deliveries.
We are also aware of the need of everyone to contribute to the reduction of waste and the use of scarce resources. To this end we use our systems to minimise the use of paper wherever possible.

Team Profile
Chris Todd, the proprietor of C Todd & Co, is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and Cheryl Mizler, the head of our payroll department, is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).
C Todd & Co believe it is important for employees to have a combination of practical experience and professional qualifications to enable us to assist clients in the most efficient and professional manner. For this reason all our employees are studying towards, or have achieved, professional qualifications.
We carry out our work professionally and efficiently but we also do not take ourselves too seriously and we take time out to enjoy the fun things in life.
When choosing your accountant it is important to select someone who is a member of a recognised professional accountancy body. Unfortunately anyone can call themselves an accountant, but only qualified accountants can call themselves Chartered.
Our main team members are:
Chris Todd (FCCA)
Chris started work in the 1980’s for Jack Tingle where he obtained the extensive training and experience required to become a Chartered Certified Accountant. Chris left school with both an O’ Level and A’ Level in accountancy.
During the time he was employed by Jack Tingle Chris studied Economics before moving on to the ACCA professional examinations with the objective of becoming a Chartered Certified Accountant. Chris passed the final exams in 1998 and became a Member of the ACCA soon after.
In 2003 Chris was admitted as a Fellow of the Association, and this is recognised by the professional letters FCCA.
Chris now concentrates on the personal contact with clients, getting to know them and their businesses, to enable him to offer the best advice on accountancy, taxation and business development, as well as ensuring clients fulfil their legal responsibilities.
Chris has a wide taste in music with a large and varied record collection, especially in rock and 1980’s music. He is also keen on sport in general, but football and cricket in particular, whilst keeping tabs on the fortunes of his local football team, Sheffield Wednesday.

Ian Parkinson
Ian has over 12 years’ practical accountancy experience and he puts his knowledge to good use.
Ian is studying towards his ACCA qualification after obtaining both O’ and A’ Levels in accountancy. He is entering the final stage of exams on the way to becoming a Chartered Certified Accountant.
Ian too is interested in sport, his local football team is Barnsley, although we don’t hold that against him, and he enjoys spending his free time with his wife and young family. He is also the current office ten pin bowling champion.
Ian is the head of our VAT department and is also our main assistant for accounts and tax return preparation.

Cheryl Mizler (MAAT)
Cheryl has several years’ practical accountancy experience and in December 2006 passed her final professional exam to earn her AAT qualification.
Cheryl has now become a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians, which is a professional accountancy association recognised world wide.
Cheryl has the professional letters MAAT to acknowledge her membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians.
Cheryl is currently planning her wedding and has the unenviable task of house hunting. When she finds her first home Cheryl will enjoy putting her design ideas into reality, which will somewhere along the way incorporate her favourite colour pink!

Rochelle Booker
Rochelle is another important member of our team and she is following in all our footsteps by gaining practical experience whilst working towards a professional accountancy qualification.
Rochelle is currently studying towards the AAT qualification with a local college via a day release course.
Rochelle is the main assistant in our payroll department, but like all members of our team she had a broad knowledge of all accountancy matters, and assists with payroll, VAT Returns and accounts preparation.
Rochelle too is a lover of the colour pink and can often be found skipping around Meadowhall with her boyfriend as bag carrier, as it should be! Rochelle spends so much of her time in Meadowhall that we are thinking of opening a branch there so she can work and shop at the same time.
